If you’re thinking about buying the Omnia Pro you need to be thinking about reading a lot of different peoples opinions on it too so as reviews and hands-on thoughts come up in these early days i’ll try and relay them to you here.
The first is from Peshir who got his Omnia Pro on Monday. He has a great 14-point post which covers his thoughts on how the device looks, the TouchWiz UI, the switchable work/life user interfaces, the sensors and a nice feature that I highlighted previously, DNLS/uPnP support. I’m personally having trouble working out which formats it can stream from and too my Xbox, W7 devices and Windows Media Center box (it certainly can’t play and TV recordings which is very annoying) but there’s some potential for listening to the music collection that resides on my server.
Check out what he has to say on his blog post.
Update: I just got the ‘connected home’ DNLS/uPnP feature to stream a 720×400 4mb/s Divx from my server. A 1.4 mbps WMV at VGA resolution. I wonder why my WMV TV recordings don’t play. PAL Mpeg-2 taken from Sat/Cable doesn’t work either.

Here the first (as far as I know) Dutch extensive review. There are some interesting pictures, so it is even interesting for those who don’t speak any Dutch…
