Beware! I’m very critical of my mobile web browsing experiences.
Having said that, I think the browser quality and speed on the Omnia Pro B7610 is good for a smartphone when used for ‘consumption.’ It’s not up to the speed and quality of an iPhone 3GS but similar in speed to the iPhone 3G which many will be familiar with. Most people are going to be more than happy with this although (and here’s my fastidious nature creeping in) it’s far from a full web experience. Javascript-heavy pages are unusable (Full Google Reader and Meebo shown in the video) and if you want a smooth flash experience you’re out of luck. I’ve turned Flash Lite support off (more of a hindrance than a help) and am running the browser with no background applications.
Font quality (due to the hi-res) and contrast (due to the OLED) is excellent making it very easy to read. I also like the re-flowing of text that Opera Mobile does. I have installed Opera Mobile 9.7 Beta but at the moment it’s a little too unstable. More on that when I get a stable version.
Enjoy the video.

Thanks for the review Chippy!
You have mentioned that speed and quality of web browsing is better with the iPhone 3Gs. I wonder if this also includes the heavy Javascript sites like meebo. I cannot imagine that the 3Gs has more processing power to handle it.

The iPhone 3GS has 50-100% more procesing power than the Omnia Pro as it’s based on the latest ARM core (Cortex)

Sounds like you have a network issue there. Proxy settings? APN settings? I’m in Germany with a device I bought in Holland.
