Yesterday I reported that the registration page for the free Windows Phone upgrade for the Netherlands version of the Omnia Pro (Omnia Qwerty) was down. Today, it’s up!
I’ve registered (I bought my OP in Holland) and I’m looking forward to the free upgrade. Maybe it will fix some of my top issues. Please Samsung; finish the work on the Email client!
For those who bought their phones in Holland, you can register here.

I hope so. It would be a shock if they didnt. I’m 99% sure they will carry it through as HTC did on the Touch Pro 2

of course it’ll stay thats their biggest marketing point, a cross platform one

I just got mine. I think it’s from portugal since regional settings are portuguese and manual is in portuguese. But where is portuguese update page ?

you don’t need the update page really, it should update itself after connecting to samsung PC studio.. provided the update is ready on the server..
I have access to different FW’s If I have a new one, I’ll share

the update is available!
Just got an email:
Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade nu beschikbaar!
#7 by Omnia Pro on November 1st, 2009
sorry, apparently I was too eager, (and too optimistic): they did send me the link, but the page still says
“Upgrade voor Omnia Qwerty verwacht [expected]: medio november 2009 [mid-November]”
[Upgrade for Omnia Qwerty expected:mid-November 2009]
then I checked the email message again, it says:
Klik op de onderstaande button om je *Omnia ll* te upgraden
[Click on the button to upgrade your Omnia II]
What the ****!
maybe I made a mistake, right? not at all, in my profile on the Samsung website there is “Telefoon : Omnia Qwerty B7610″!
no comment…
