If I’ve got my translations correct, this article in French is reviewing the B7610…running Windows Phone OS.
While the article doesn’t say if the WM6.5 version is available in the shops yet, it does indicate that the WM6.5 build is happening.
As SamsunMobile.nl is still advertising the free upgrade to 6.5 for the middle of November, we guess it’s happening very very soon. Hopefully it will open the gates for availability in other countries too.

I’m waiting for the french release, and the only answer i get from Samsung for the release date is : “when it’s done, it’ll be on the website homepage” :/

I send a mail on the french website, and the answer make me laugh : “there is no windows update scheduled for your mobile” hum hum

GSMArena just got their hands on a WM6.5 running OPro. They make some very interesting points about the performance being better with 6.1!
This certainly confirms a 6.5 build for the OPro. I dare say, it’s a sign that the 6.5 update is very close to release! Maybe even a sign that this week, it may become available in the UK, at long last… touch wood!

That’s a real shame… You’d have thought Samsung would have released that update before or at the same time as they released the WM6.5 enabled devices in the UK.

indeed, I cannot find any reason why they wouldn’t have it ready by now:
1) Samsung version of WM6.5 for the Omnia Pro is available, at least if they are shipping the new device – you might be the one who is going to tell us today, Jacob! Or is there somebody else in UK who already got it?
2) the upgrading platform is ready, as it is used for the Omnia II, for instance
Maybe the WM6.5 in the Omnia Pro sold in UK isn’t yet finished and will need some updating too in the future – but this doesn’t make much sense either, does it?
