Here’s a brief look at the video recording quality on my upgraded Omnia Pro (now running WM6.5)
The quality is surprisingly good for a smartphone. 2mbps H.264 means you can send it direct to YouTube without having to re-compress it too.
The video should play in HQ by default but remember its a video converted by YouTube. The original file is available at Blip.TV in the ‘files and links’ section on the right.
What do you think?

I agree. The video quality looks pretty good!
Tell me, is the B7610 as high up in the graphics department as the Omnia II (which even beats the Acer Neotouch in the benchmarks)?

They both have the same processor and the same amount of RAM, so I’m fairly sure that, graphically speaking, the devices are identical.
Strange that it outperformed the Neotouch though… that has a 1GHz snapdragon CPU, doesn’t it? Interesting!

That’s definitely good! You can really see that those smartphones are more and more constructed as digital camera’s. I mean Samsung even has a phone that has optical zoom (I’m not really sure of the name). Of course you shouldn’t play it on a (large) tv because than it will get blurry. For on the computer and internet it’s great.
