As I have posted elsewhere, I like to keep my PDA permanently protected. Previously I've found cases that let me access all the phones features without removing it from the case. Its trickier with a sliding keyboard but possible. Having heard about the scratches other people have caused to their Omnia Pro's I'm even more concerned about this.
So Doesa anyone know of a case that would be suitable for the Omnia Pro and where to get it?
The nearest I've found so far have been on mobilephonecrazy. I wrote to them asking for more details. Here's the reply I got:
Firstly, the clear crystal cover is a transparent hardened plastic case which the phone can be used whilst in it, however, the display screen is usually open to the elements and not protected by the case, because there is a cut out where the display screen is visible to allow you to use the screen. This type of case really protects like an extra layer of external casing to your phone, rather than a traditional type of case. From your description of wanting to keep your PDA completely and permanently protected while in or out of use, in all honesty, this may not be the best case for your intended usage. The phone glove case is actually a black leather case with an opening vertically at the top by velcro or magnetic snap (at the manufacturer's discretion – we have no control over this) to allow the phone to slip in and out of it, with a belt clip on the back. The case completely surrounds your phone and protects in whilst in the case, so this could be ideal for what you are looking for, however, the PDA must be removed from the case for usage. It is a completely enclosed black leather phone glove case to fit this particular PDA specifically.

Lastly, the vertical leather flip case, is a premium leather case, made of the highest quality NAPA leather, with all the cut outs and openings for your phone model in the exact correct positions on the case. This means you can use headsets, charge your phone, etc. whilst it is in the case. However, because the Samsung B7610 Omni Pro has a full frontal display screen, this case only exposes the top half of it when flipped open allowing usage of that portion of the screen, otherwise, the phone must be removed from the case in order to use the full display screen. Please note that the top half of the display screen exposed when the case is flipped open, is not protected by a plastic sheath, and is fully open. I hope the above has tried to help you to make an informed decision. Please note that none of the current cases on the market place for this particular phone allow it to slide for usage at present. We are pushing for a manufacturer to actually make a case similar to the Krusell cases for this phone, such as with all the cut outs in the correct places, a plastic sheath over the display screen, and with the ability to allow full use for the phone to slide whilst in the case. This currently doesn't exist, but in the next few months, watch this space, the manufacturers are always coming up with new ideas. The closest currently is a Krusell case, which unfortunately is not available yet on the market place for this particular phone / PDA model, but when it is, we will be among the first to get it. We are currently taking pre-orders for this case, which is why the link is showing on our website for it. They are hopefully expected to arrive into stock within the next month, and all orders for them will be fulfilled in the sequence received until the stock is depleted for them.
