As we move forward towards the release of the Omnia Pro it's imprtant to be able to ask questions and post tips and information that can help others. I've set up the forum to enable just that. Feel free to register and be among the first Omnia Pro fans!

Format and forums can be changed in this early stage so if you have any feedback, please post it in this thread.

Thanks for visiting.

Thanks, Chippy. Forums offer a nicer way of discussing things than blogs do. Of course, the limited member base might be a problem.

Do we need to have a captcha for every post? I would have thought once when members sign up would be sufficient to filter out the vast majority of spambots.

Hi Carl. Thanks for joining up!

A captcha isn't required at this stage, you're right. I'll disable it.

Hi CHippy,

Can you split general Omnia Pro into 2 sub-groups ? Hardware and software ? It would be much easier to find the topic you are interested in ..

In few months there will be more and more Omnia Pro users and more and more forum members => more topics. Why not to add more sub-forums ? Examples are :

1. Hardware

2. Software

3. Accessories

4. Windows Mobile 6.1 / 6.5

5. Tips and tricks (existing)

6. General Samsung (others ?)

7.  ???

Permissions for the forums seem odd.

My first messages in the accessories section I could make as a guest.

Now to post in the general area I need to be logged in.

However even though I've registered I cannot make new topics in the software or accessories sections. Yes if I log out I still caConfusedn as a guest!

As I said I can't post a reply to my Cases topic, either as a guest or when logged in.

So here it is instead:

I took a surf around and found some videos that illustrate/explain how the same style of case works on other phones

Now I see that the middle image shows the hings and cover for the camera, while the lower part of the third image shows the folded back, inside of that flap.
Like my Tytn II case it has curved grips that keep the phone in place both while the keyboard is closed and open.
I like it
